Frequency-bin entanglement from domain-engineered down-conversion

چکیده

Frequency encoding is quickly becoming an attractive prospect for quantum information protocols owing to larger Hilbert spaces and increased resilience noise compared other photonic degrees of freedom. To fully make use frequency as a practical paradigm QIP, efficient simple source entanglement required. Here we present single-pass discrete frequency-bin which does not filtering or resonant cavity. We domain-engineered nonlinear crystal generate eight-mode entangled at telecommunication wavelengths. Our approach leverages the high heralding simplicity associated with bulk sources.
